Digital presence for work worth showing.

I design and build websites for people with work worth showing. Portfolios, practices, small businesses. Every one is drawn from scratch rather than dropped into a template.

How I work

Most portfolio sites are a template with a logo dropped in.

Drawn, not assembled

No themes and no page builders. Each site starts as a blank page and your work.

Every site is drawn from scratch. That takes longer than assembling a theme, and it is the whole reason the finished thing does not look like the other twelve in your field.

  • Typography and grid drawn for your work
  • Galleries sized so your best project leads
  • Motion and detail tuned to the site, not bolted on
Project sites

Built to be found

Fast, structured and searchable, with local search set up alongside it when you serve an area.

Most local businesses lose work to competitors with worse portfolios and better profiles. The profile is the storefront: categories, service areas, photos and reviews decide whether you appear in the map results at all.

  • Sub-second loads and AAA contrast throughout
  • Business Profile claimed, categorised and verified
  • Structured data so search engines read it correctly
Local search

Still current in a year

New work published as you finish it, rather than left at launch-day state.

A site that never changes stops earning its keep. I handle the hosting and the framework updates, and publish new projects as you finish them, so the site is always showing your most recent work.

  • A CMS you own publish without me
  • Hosting and updates certificates and patches handled
  • Projects published as you finish them

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does a project take?

Most sites take six to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. The largest variable is photography — if the work still needs shooting, budget an extra two weeks.

Do I need professional photography?

It makes more difference than anything else. The design is built around large images, so the photos are what separate a site that wins commercial work from one that looks like every other trade site. If you already use a photographer, I will direct the shoot. If you do not, I can shoot it myself — I am not a professional photographer, and I will not pretend otherwise, but a proper camera and careful editing clear the bar most trade sites sit at by a wide margin. Either way the editing is mine, so the finished set reads as one body of work rather than a folder of odds and ends.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. Every project ships on a CMS, so adding a project, swapping an image or publishing an article takes a few minutes and no developer. If you would rather not, that is what the care plans cover.

What does the care plan actually include?

Hosting, backups, security updates and monitoring as standard. The Growth plan adds Google Business Profile management, two published articles a month and up to three new projects uploaded.

Do you work with businesses outside your area?

Yes — the design and build work happens remotely and we do it across the country. Local search work is tied to wherever you actually operate, not to where we are.
